Great old school Italian joint! I love the food and ambiance here! They always have great friendly service as well!
One of Riverside's little Italian hidden gems. We got the pizza special (it's huge! ) and the manicotti w/ meatball. Everything was absolutely delicious!
One of our favorite small, local pasta and pizza places. Don't sleep on the pizza here or my favorite the pesto pasta (make it creamy), it's a family favorite! Great staff, quiet environment to enjoy a wonderful meal! Come give them a try! Support small local businesses.
This place has been around forever. For awhile I was really worried because the service and food had gone down. We decided to give it another try and I am SO thankful we did. Bravo to the owners and staff for turning it around..the service was amazing and the food was even better than I remember. We are already planning to go back! If you can, give them another try!
Pizza here is undeniably the best in Riverside--especially their Lemon Chicken. The crust and the toppings are delicious! Everything tastes balanced, fresh, and quality. Go for the lunch specials--an excellent deal!
Pepperoni, Jalapeño, Onion, Pineapple Pizza - Pietro's Italian Cuisine ~ On my way home, trying to outsmart traffic, I took a detour down Brockton Ave in Riverside and I remembered my good friend Sam had recommended a pizza spot to me! Never heard of the spot but I am always interested in trying/supporting local business + Today, I ordered a full 12in pizza with their "regular" crust, sweet tomato sauce, peps, jalas, onion, and piña! This particular ZA is an American-Italian style (almost NY, not quite... let's say CA.) The eating experience was very nice, it was an extremely filling pizza and only ran me about $20. Comforting atmosphere, friendly hostess, and bar rescue on the tvs. all in all I give this American-style pizza a 7.9/10. The crust was a lil hard for my teeth but the sweet sauce was an excellent pairing for the rest of the pie!
It was my first time here in 10 years and can't believe I've been missing out. The antipasto salad was excellent as you can see I added a 'pinch' of black pepper, the vinaigrette was perfect!! The tortellini ala pana had the perfect amount of alfredo cream sauce, again I added a dab of red chili which made it super spicy but that's how i like my food so in their defense, most people probably don't need pepper at all. My boyfriends Parmigiana was very good, he said it wasn't his favorite but he'd definitely come back and try new things because the flavors were all pretty darn tasty!! We'll be back soon!!
Pietro's is my go-to for Italian food! I usually order pick-up on my busy evenings for dinner and they have not disappointed. It was exciting to try the cuisine in person this time. Parking: it's pretty easy to find parking and I really enjoy its location at the Brockton Arcade. So many amazing shops in this one small place. Selection: We were very pleased with our last visit as it was a farewell to friend moving out of state. Our friend is vegetarian and we had a hard time picking a place, when Pietro's came to mind. We all were able to eat something we liked and were satisfied.
Always wanted to try this place, Glad I did. The pastrami sandwich was great, and bread was perfect. Service was great and courteous, no waiting and very comfortable atmosphere. Plan on going back to try the lasagna for dinner soon.
This restaurant is tucked away in a small shopping center, and it definitely should not be overlooked. The food is prepared well and is flavorful. We ordered the Margarita Pizza, small calzone, pesto pasta, lemon chicken pizza and a small meatball sandwich. All dishes were delicious! The portions are big so be prepared to have leftovers! My only critique of Pietro's is the slow service. The waitress was very friendly but she was not as attentive to the table as we would have liked (ex: my water was left empty for more than half of our meal). Other than that issue, Pietro's is a great place to eat! We will definitely return in the future!
